Tattoos can mean so many different things to people: rites of passage, remembrances of other people, places, experiences, commemorations of connection and belonging, the strength we take from powerful symbols.
An artist all of my life, I have identified with these ideas through the creation of my art. I've found self-expression and fulfillment, insight into myself and others. Art has always been a sanctuary for me, a place to find happiness, refuge and unity.
TATTOO ARTIST JOE FINCH
Here's a short intro of myself. Well, having an uncle that started tattooing 30 odd years ago exposed me to tattoos and tattooing at a very early age. I'd never really thought of becoming a tattooist until my early twenties. But, once involved, I've not looked back.
Apart from tattoos and tattooing, some of my other hobbies include photography, painting and tropical fish keeping. My goals are to develop into a respected tattooist and at all times be happy doing what I do. To me, tattooing is not just a job; it's my passion, and almost an obsession.
Completing an Arts diploma at the Orbis Sinclair College of Art & Design has provided me with a solid foundation for tattooing. My creativeness was further enhanced with experience in the illustration industry over numerous years.

Chermaine is a Singapore-based tattoo artist specializing in fine line and intricate geometric tattoos. With a background in interior and media design, she brings precision, balance, and storytelling into every piece.
Trained under mentor Joe Finch, she has been tattooing for over 2 years, creating designs that blend artistry with personal meaning.

His passion lies in black & grey realism and Polynesian tattoos, where he blends precision with cultural depth.
